About Us

Our Money Place Inc. is a financial service center located in West Baltimore, whose mission is to help residents of the Baltimore Metro Region develop and meet financial goals that ultimately lead to generational wealth creation. This center was founded and developed by the Operation ReachOut-SouthWest community coalition and the Bon Secours of Maryland Foundation; two organizations that have been working on improving the quality of life in Southwest Baltimore for over 10 years.

Our Money Place Inc. opened in March 2003. Our work is carried out in two offices. At our North Fulton Avenue location Our Money Place offers financial management planning assistance and tax return preparation. At our retail location in the Westside Shopping Center we offer retail financial services such as savings and checking accounts, market rate loans through our partnership with Security Plus Federal Credit Union (previously SSA Baltimore Federal Credit Union). We also offer free money orders and low-cost check-cashing, and bill payment through our other partner A&B Check Cashing.

Our Money Place is a non-profit 501 c 3 organization.
